Six outstanding Chinese rarities that sold for six-figure prices were among the coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) that were offered in a Champion Macau auction on December 1, 2024.
The top lot was a China 1898 Kiangnan Silver Dollar - Circlet Scale Dragon graded NGC MS 66 and pedigreed to the YIF Collection (lot 65), which sold for $500,000. The YIF Collection — which stands for Yang’s Intriguing Finds — is an esteemed pedigree in the world of coin collecting, particularly celebrated for its rare and high-quality Chinese coins.
